MOT Tester Training Level 2 (Class 1 & 2)

Our MOT tester training course Level 2 (Class 1 & 2) for bikes is a 3 day course that includes both online and practical assessments.

MOT Tester Training Level 2 (Class 4 & 7)

Our MOT tester training course Level 2 (Class 4 & 7) for cars/vans is a 4 day course (plus demo test) and includes both online and practical assessments.

Light Vehicle Inspection Training & Assessment Level 3

On the call, we’ll discuss your training needs and direct you toward the short online registration form.

When applying for our courses you might need to send us a copy of any previous certificates you have. You also might need to complete a DBS check depending on which course you’ve decided to take.

You can easily pay for the course via card payment or BACS transfer payment – this will secure your place on the course.

After payment has gone through you’ll receive confirmation of your course booking and a link to any pre-learning or reading that needs to be done before the course begins.

How long are MOT tester training courses?

It depends on the course. Our refresher course only takes half a day but some of our other courses take 3-5 days to complete.

Do I have to get MOT training every year?

If you want to keep your licence as an MOT tester then you must:

Complete three hours of training each year
Keep a record of your training
Take an annual assessment
Record your result on the MOT testing service

What’s involved in an MOT tester training course?

Our MOT tester training courses are a balance between classroom and workshop learning. You will need to complete an online theory assessment as well as a practical assessment.
