Award in Electric / Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement
This qualification is designed for people who will be working with Electric / Hybrid vehicles within a routine maintenance situation and links with our Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
This is a 3 day course which includes online and practical skills assessments as well as a written review.
Once completed, this course will give you the skills to:
- Work safely on an Electric / Hybrid Vehicle
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on high voltage electrical systems
- Use information from manuals to carry out the task thoroughly
- Gather information from manuals etc., and make suitable and appropriate recommendations
Completing this qualification will give you the skills to successfully isolate Electric / Hybrid vehicles and then carry out a repair to a high voltage system that has been placed in a non-live state only.
For this course, while there are no formal pre-requisites, we recommend that delegates be able to demonstrate that they have at least three years of experience in the Service and Repair of Light Vehicles in order to successfully complete this course.
